BPMPI Holds SPMI Refresher and SPMI Completion Socialization via SEVIMA
The Quality Assurance and Institutional Development Agency (BPMPI) held the SPMI Refreshment and SPMI Data Entry activities via SEVIMA on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. The event took place in the BYC Library Meeting Room and was attended by representatives of GPM, GKM, and related units within UNIDA.
In his address, the Head of BPMPI emphasized the importance of understanding and aligning SPMI (Internal Quality Assurance System) documents with the latest regulations, particularly referring to Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education Regulation No. 53 of 2023, as well as integrating SN DIKTI, SPME, and SPMI. This process will be implemented gradually until August 2025, with the June documents prioritized for completion first.
“The preparation of documents will involve related work units as reviewers before being submitted to the Senate, and then approved by the Vice Rector, the Head of the Agency, and the Rector,” he stated.
In the second session, participants were provided with technical knowledge regarding the mechanism for filling in SPMI data digitally through the SEVIMA platform. This data entry will be based on data from LKPS and LED already owned by study programs. BPMPI will handle the initial stage, while the next stage will be continued by GPM.
The use of SEVIMA consists of four main stages, starting from uploading quality policy documents, conducting Internal Quality Audits (AMI), setting achievement targets, and documenting AMI implementation. It was emphasized that active involvement of study programs is crucial, even though most of the current data entry is still carried out by GPM.
“The target for SPMI data entry via SEVIMA is set until June 15, 2025. Currently, priority is given to study programs under BAN-PT, supported by those already under LAM,” explained one of the speakers during the discussion.
Meeting participants also expressed several technical constraints, such as the unavailability of SEVIMA accounts for study programs and GPM. In this regard, BPMPI ensured that coordination with the Super Admin and the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs is underway to ensure smooth data input.
In addition, the formulation of the roles and functions of GPM and GKM in the future also became a point of attention, along with strengthening the quality culture at the study program level.
This activity will be continued with technical workshops and a series of monitoring sessions until mid-June as part of UNIDA's commitment to strengthening the internal quality system on an ongoing basis.
